Macrobiotic Teacher and Counselor
David Jackson has been practicing Macrobiotics since 1977. He began in San Diego and then studied with Roy Steevensz at The East West Center in Los Angeles. He also studied at the Kushi Institute in Becket, Ma and received his macrobiotic counseling certification there.
In 1981 he started Grain Country Macrobiotic Food Store and Restaurant and The East West Center for Macrobiotic Studies in San Diego on 30th St. in the North Park area
His 10 years at this location gave him much opportunity for teaching and counseling and also allowed him to travel and teach.
He has taught at the Kushi Institute Summer Conference, the Fall Health Classic in Palm Springs and George Oshawa Macrobiotic Foundation Summer Camp in California.
He has held private seminars in Utah, New York, Colorado, Texas, California, Louisiana and throughout Arizona.
In 1991 David moved to Prescott Arizona to raise his family of 3 children along with his wife. He continues to teach and do personal counseling throughout the state with monthly trips to Flagstaff, Phoenix and Tucson. He is also available for phone counseling.
